Age requirement and Cost
A contestant must have reached her 8th birthday by June 30, and cannot have reached her 13th birthday by October 31, of the year that the pageant is held.
There is a $50 entry fee per contestant. At first practice, you can pay with cash, credit/debit card, VENMO (@hopkinscofair add $2.00) or a check payable to the Hopkins County Fair.
Winner will compete at the Miss Pre-Teen Kentucky County Fair pageant in October in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pageant Practice
Practice is an important process of the pageant. Only two practices are scheduled this year. Please make plans to attend.
Practice #1 – Tuesday, July 29, 5-7 pm
Practice #2 – Thursday, July 31, 5-7 pm
- Talk to your contestant about her interview
- Practice walking at home
- Evening gowns need to barely brush the floor, not too short to show shoes, not too long to avoid stepping on gown
Scoring
- 30 points for interview
- 30 points for casual wear
- 40 points for evening wear
